SQZD. is on the look-out for an Account Manager to support the growth of our client portfolio, which includes some big blue-chip clients in the UK. You will be required to build and develop client relationships. You will be responsible for the delivery of video, animation, design and digital. You will ensure we deliver on our clients’ expectations, on schedule, within budget and maximising retention and revenue through sales activity.
Tasks include:

Customer Service Strategy

  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with our key clients
  • Manage client budgets and targets
  • Identify key areas for growth and build strategies to implement these
  • Managing the delivery of various content marketing projects for our clients, working closely with the creative and production team
  • SQZD. is a content creation agency that focuses on storytelling to deliver results for brands across the UK.

The Right Person

  • Ideally, someone with over 3 years’ experience working in the video, digital or social media marketing industry.
  • Excellent relationship skills – it is essential that you be able to develop relationships across a range of clients and industries. As well as within the business.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and work to deadlines.
  • Experience in working with multi-functional teams.
  • Understanding of the sales and business development process, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities. Including the facilitation of up-sell opportunities.
  • Following existing processes and developing new ones.
  • Proactive and incredibly organised, with strong time management and planning skills. Innovative and creative.

Knowledge

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office or equivalent
  • Good understanding of a wide range of Social and Digital Media platforms
  • Working in a commercial B2B environment
  • Project management advantageous
  • Experience working with Powerpoint or Keynote
  • Excellent grasp of the English language

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a mid to senior level motion graphics designer to join our team of merry pranksters. We are only interested in candidates who have at least 5 years’ experience working for either an agency or in house. We are looking for somebody who can bring their creativity and ideas to the table. We aren’t after a button pusher or a computer geek but a designer who can take a project from nothing to something, in lightning speed. You will need to be able to work under intense deadline pressures, deliver creative solutions and quality results. You will be able to work on your own or part of a team. Our clients include blue-chip companies and we have the ability to turn, often long and confusing briefs, into engaging and creative animations. You will be working on 2D, 3D and illustrated animations.

Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings and develop initial creative ideas, mood boards, style frames and storyboards using illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Very experienced in After Effects including using plugins such as particular, form, plexus, Newton, DUIK etc…
  • A great ability to design and animate using Cinema 4D.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • An understanding of Premiere Pro, Audition and Adobe animate.
  • Have a very good standard of English, both spoken and written.

Other Duties & Qualifications include the following:

  • Concept visuals to accompany written scripts.
  • Create visually stunning and compelling style frames.
  • Model, light, texture, and render objects and animations.
  • Composite 3D render passes.
  • Animate a variety of styles and techniques in 2D.
  • Rotoscope, paint, and cleanup for VFX.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in or with motion design studios, ad agencies, or post houses.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Work with clients directly and via Producers and Business Development.
  • Present concepts and work both internally and to clients.
  • Proactively research competitive organizations to understand their strengths and identify opportunities where you as an individual, and we as a company can grow.
  • Oversee and mentor more junior members of our design team.
  • Keep up with new design styles and types.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborate across the organization on brainstorming and client pitches.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as a team.
  • Comfortable making changes to work based on client feedback.
  • Able to solve business problems through visual design.
  • Some shooting experience is a plus.
  • Obsessed with putting out the best work possible.
